This cry of the soul has already talked a lot about it, but the fact is that downloading tv series theme does not work on the new version of the server.
On old version work 1.4.3.3433.
created a separate topic Just because nobody hears us and I want someone to see it the problem itself is already more than a year old but developers do not correct the situation. if you understand in detail that the music is downloaded but does not fall into the desired folder in order to play in the program.

Chiming in on this as well, theme music has never worked for me on SHIELD, period.

Likewise, has never worked on Shield. Works fine on my backup/test macOS PMS installation.
I actually fixed this a while back but have since rebuilt the server and not gotten around to fixing it again. I fixed it by modifying a certain file within PLEX’s file structure on the SHIELD’s internal memory. Basically, connect to the shares from a laptop via the IP address of the shield, locate com.plexmediaserver or whatever it’s called and modify this file and that worked for me. I’ll see if I can remember what the process was
@AdsZz If you can indeed reproduce the fix and document it I think quite a few people would appreciate it!
(It would however leave us all scratching our heads as to why Plex haven’t fixed it themselves).
If you search around the forum you will find (it is an old thread related to this bug) how to fix it by editing a text file for EACH tv show.

Where do this bug come from? Tv shows themes are stored in the wrong folder!
Each tv show data is stored in directories “xyz.bundle” (xyz is a “random” name).
You need read access to the android data partition to browse this folder (i.e. root).
In my case this is a single TV show path:
/mnt/media_rw/082E-83A3/Android/data/com.plexapp.mediaserver.smb/Plex Media Server/Metadata/TV Shows/xyz.bundle
Here is a real life example for a single show (of course the name of storage and directories will be different om your Shield):
Wrong location:
/mnt/media_rw/-83A3/Android/data/com.plexapp.mediaserver.smb/Plex Media Server/Metadata/TV Shows/0/5139b3304efe401c3aaea7cb1c8386bf445d006.bundle/Contents/com.plexapp.agents.plexthememusic/themes
Right location:
/mnt/media_rw/082E-83A3/Android/data/com.plexapp.mediaserver.smb/Plex Media Server/Metadata/TV Shows/0/5139b3304efe401c3aaea7cb1c8386bf445d006.bundle/Contents/_stored/themes/
If you copy the theme file from the wrong location to the right location, then the TV themes plays!
Could a Plex dev please manage to solve this very old bug?!
