Plex freezes my pc/blanks my display when I pause a video and wait for 10 minutes. I’m not sure what’s causing this, but I only get this with plex.
The scenario is the following:
- Plex is windowed and maximized (allowing me to switch to other apps while using plex)
- Do nothing
- Wait for 10 minutes
- Screen goes blank
If plex was showing the menu, I can just hit a key and my screen unblanks/comes out of standby.
If plex was paused while playing a video I can’t get my screen to come out of standby.
- Pressing space doesn’t resume the video
- In 50% of the cases I can ssh into the machine, the other half I cant (timeouts)
- Once SSH’d into the machine, (h)top doesn’t show any odd behaviour
This happens both in PMC and in PlexHT (both of which I compiled)
System: Debian Sid / Linux 3.1.0-1-amd64
Any ideas what might be causing this?
