Cant find that otion in my settings menu.
In the settings menu you get one of two things:-
If PIL/Pillow is correctly installed then you'll be able to set Movie Fanart to either Hide or Show.
If PIL/Pillow isn't installed then you'll get a menu item saying "PIL/Pillow not installed".IMG_0378.JPG
If neither of theses things happen then you may not be running the latest version of PlexConnect.
i updated PlexConnect this morning and it said Version: 0.4-dev, i guess i must have done something wrong in the update process.
After complete removing the PlexConnect folder with a fresh install it now works.

roidy nop its the official version. Clean install :
go to tv show. From deck choose a show and hold on the remote the button to have the dialog. Choose View show. Choose a season. Choose a episode. Choose audio/subs. Choose the subtitle and go back. Then the icon of Trailer is visuable.
Attaching the log file i dont know if this helps. (i am using the latest release (a2be2ed)

Have installed latest ver and pil but when I select show fan art I canot navigate down past the show icon to the series level or in movies past the movie pic to the play level if I hide fan art can navigate and play but with no fan art any ideas ?

I have noticed that after I have installed the last two PMS updates I have to go into the PlexConnect settings and re-enable the 'Show Fan Art'. I wonder if the required pc reboot and therefore the stop/start of PlexConnect is resetting this option?

Are you shutting down plexconnect cleanly (Ctrl c in the command window) before rebooting the machine? This is the only way this setting is saved for next startup
Cheers for that. I am running PlexConnect as a service so it is Windows that controls the shutdown. Thanks to you I stopped the service and ran PlexConnect from the command line. I then made my config changes before closing PlexConnect with Ctrl-C. I then started it as a service and all was good.

The tweaked gradient in relation to the titles looks great. Any chance you will be adding the front page options that we see in Falco's theme where you can select coverflow for the libraries display and have the on deck and recently added rows just below that? I have returned to your original build with the new fanart but I miss the convenience of being able to select recent or in progress videos from the home page.

this is actually the one reason that i keep updating my github.. i have basically the standard plexconnect but i have added that library view to it.. would be awesome if that was implemented..
Yeah, the Baa/Roidy version is so rock solid I prefer to use it. Also, even in Falco's build you don't have to have the interface I described above. It is all optional and can be controlled from the settings.

Just curious... did anybody try the Pillow fanart backgrounds stuff directly on an jailbroken ATV2?
I am on windows and seem to be getting the 'require authentication' bug where my screen is black.
Is there any plans to fix this? as I don't want to stop using that require authentication feature.

first i have to say thank you for this great feature. Now I have question.
It seems that my apple tv store the backround pics and if i change them on the server the further pic is still on my atv. Can you help that i can change the oics there, too?
