Offline content question

Hi
Been using plex for a couple months , and I love it
Question is
I’m using my pc at home as my server which works great on my own network I have my own library which I watch on a smart tv .

I work at another address half of the time , is there a way of watching my content on another smart tv at another address WITHOUT leaving my pc on 24/7
Is there a way to watch on another tv if my server is offline

Thanks I’m advance

No.

Plex supports Downloads but that feature is only available for the desktop player and mobile apps. You cannot download media from your server to a smart tv or cast downloaded media from the supported clients to a smart tv.

I am also using my PC as the server, it’s awesome, but it does need to be on, I never ever shut my PC off, I just do a maintenance shutdown/boot quarterly. That said, if you lose your internet service (like when the drunk lady takes out the pole and the whole block loses service), Plex will still run on your home LAN, just not to anything outside. There is a delay in the initial buffering, but then smooth sailing after that.
