I moved over to the desktop app after extensively using the sync feature on an android tablet and gotten frustrated with the lack of functionality that the download option provides in comparison to sync.
I’ve noticed consistent issues with watched status and progress not moving across to the server after coming back online as my primary gripe which I believe is a known issue being worked on.
Equally annoying is the lack of download options like “all unplayed” etc. Does anyone know if this functionality ever be added to download so its as useful as sync?
Also there’s no auto download refresh option available and often when I try the “check for new downloads” nothing happens forcing me to open each series download options to get the next set of episodes.
At this stage I’m wondering if anyone has any workarounds or any suggests to make using the desktop clients download functionality more automatic like the sync functionality is?
