I have old plex servers showing up for managed users/friends with access. These are old servers that they had access to but have been removed from my plex account. Anyway to clean these up. I saw a reddit article that said a Plex Employee had to help with this…These servers do not show in my authorized devices nor in setup. These ghost servers show in plex web as well as other devices.
What is the name of one of the ghost servers?

This is what is showing for shared access/managed users. When I go to change access, some show 6+ libraries shared when I only have 6 available
If a home user goes to https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/plex-home or a non-home user goes to https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/manage-library-access
and they click on your account do they see the servers listed there? if they do is there an edit
link next to it? ( if so it should open and have a Leave Server
button)
Okay I see that, I have alot of users that aren’t tech saavy, is there any way to remove those servers from other people on their behalf? perhaps via the API?
Not that I know of but I will try to see what I can do manually. I removed the server JS Cloud Nebula
can you confirm if it worked or not.
You seem to have a lot of servers like this. Is Ion Canon
in your screenshot the only active server you have?
OK I think I removed all the ghost servers.
Yes, perfect! They are all removed. Yea, years of inexperience…now know how to handle it going forward. Thank you SO much for your help!
Only thing I can recommend is that when you stop using a server because maybe it was only one used for testing, make sure to unclaim it or remove it from authorized devices as soon as you can.
I think there is some backend bug with inactive servers that cannot be pinged after some amount of time.
