“then you have to sign into the client”
If my Plex server is installed on my PC, and also is installed my local NAS and I only need to access Plex via LAN ( NAS->Roku->TV ) where is the Client? Shouldn’t’ my client be on my NAS? If so, why isn’t LAN sufficient? Why be redirected from a local IP (192.168.x.x:32400) to Plex.tv? I do client/server programming all of the time using a localhost, no internet/WAN necessary.
I entered my local ip addresses, my pc’s static address: 192.168.x.xxx and My NAS 192.168.x.xxx. I then tried to access 192.168.x.xxx:32400 and an “error in login” appears.
Can you detect my question and concern?
