So I’ve noticed that if refresh rate switching is turned on (2019 tube Shield), resolution switching is engaged even if it’s turned off in settings. With the 2015/2017 Shield I wouldn’t have cared, but now that the 2019 Shield’s have excellent upscaling, I want to turn refresh rate switching ON but resolution switching OFF.
Also, I tried using Nvidia’s beta refresh rate switching option as an alternative, and it is very finicky. I have to engage it multiple times for it to finally work, and then half the time Plex crashes, saying “Playback has stopped because the connection to the Plex Media Server has been lost”.Plex_res_switch_log.txt (1.1 MB)
