On Deck doesn’t show how many unwatched TV episodes are available like everywhere else. Is there a reason for that?
OnDeck is meant for the next available episode in queue to watch from the last. It will not display “all” the available episodes for a particular show, just the next in line… It is my guess that this is the desired behavior.
An example of this is American Horror Story. I skipped a entire season (minus 2 episodes, lol) cause it sucked so the OnDeck continues from the last episode. I would hate being reminded all the time of the other unwatched episodes…
Also, the OnDeck displays single episodes not series/season. This is the same as if you were at the pre-play screen. It doesn’t display any unwatched episodes, just that one single episode…
ok, since there is already an orange triangle to let you know the on deck episode is (obviously) unwatched, how about showing the number of episodes on deck in the triangle like in the orange box for unwatched episodes of a series?
I often like to watch something when there are a few new episodes available. Right now if I browse On Deck, it can take 4-10 actions to find out how many episodes are available.
I really don’t know how to respond to your reply. Again, it’s only displaying a single episode. Nowhere in PLEX does it display total count of unwatched from a single episode. Why should the deck do it? Besides, PLEX already reserves a numbering system for episodes for “copies” of said episodes…
i’m not asking for " total count of unwatched from a single episode". I’m asking for On Deck to show how many unwatched episodes are available in the TV library for the shows it displays.
on my Fire Stick or PC, when I look at the TV Library, I’m shown how many unwatched episodes there are.
If I’m 3 episodes behind with The Simpsons, why can’t On Deck show a “3”? If I look at The Simpsons in the TV Library, it will show 3 unwatched episodes
