No, it’s DSM provided by Synology as a download. I am not sure now how to get to the ssh command line. I am currently in the PlexMediaServer folder, ready to run DBRepair.
Ahhh I seem to have lost access to the NAS as well, I get this from Terminal:
cd /Volumes/PlexMediaServer
cd: no such file or directory: /Volumes/PlexMediaServer
I have tried the drag-and-drop Mac method of using the path to access the server, but it doesn’t always seem to work, and I get the same output as typing it in by hand. Am I missing something?
Volume1 not Volumes
I think I am back where I want to be now, later today I will try DBRepair (I have somewhat limited time on the computer atm). Does this look right? :
baward@Mac-mini ~ % ssh cinerama21@192.168.178.35 -p 15
cinerama21@192.168.178.35’s password:

cinerama21@NAS:~$
Yes it does.
I am finally running DBRepair after spending some time getting to the right folder on my NAS. Being used to a GUI, makes a command line interface a bit of a steep learning curve, even though I have now done it several times. I think I will do a course onMac Terminal…
