New to RasPlex (a great option until they get PMP right).
When starting a video that needs transcoding a little popup come in the screen to say as such. Is there a way of turning this off? I don’t really care if it’s transcoding the PMS I have has enough grunt to handle all the formats I use.
So is there a way of stopping this?

You get some important messages from that pop up messaging system and I don´t know any way to disable just one message.
I suggest you to live with it or better, remux your media to a compatible format. That way you can have your videos on a higher quality than any transcode plus you don’t have to create your own edited system for your rasplex
Also if your problems if with some proprietary codecs it might be just easier to get the corresponding license key
