One plex server hosted in different locations? basically a cdn?

Is there a way to have users share a single library, but from the ability to have many servers; the actual server that they source the data from gets chosen automatically based on speed etc?

Use case I have: My family in another city would like to access my media server, but my upload isn’t the greatest, I’m also using most of my throughput for my own stuff. I figured I could setup a small media sever in their home and then just have it connected to the Gdrive and then whenever they play things it wouldn’t use my upload, it would just connect to the server on their internal network that would be downloading straight from Google.

If this isn’t possible, any suggestions or how I can make this work?

@MovieWatcher provided you have a plex pass subscription, you can share your library with as many users as you want.
And yes, you can have multiple servers on different locations with the same libraries, the disadvantage is they won’t sync things like play history and settings unless you do it manually in plex’s database.
I personally use rclone to mount my google team drives locally but you could use google’s own drive file stream on a windows machine as well.
