"Online media sources" page blank

Server Version#: tried both 1.15.4.994-107756f7e and 1.15.5.994-4610c6e8d
Player Version#: NA
Platform: Win 10 v1809

Hi. Just noticed this issue today. I have recently upgraded my server version, as well as starting a Plex Pass membership, so not sure which or if either is contributing to the problem.

On multiple machines via the hosted web app and on the server via local web interface, using both Firefox and Chrome with add-ons disabled, I get a blank page when I go to “Online media sources”.

My experience is identical to this thread:

Help? Thanks!

Hopefully staff will come help you out. As you no doubt saw in my thread it was not an issue on my end, but something that happened in the Plex backend.

If you are experiencing the same issue, they will most likely want the Chrome console debug errors to be posted.

Yep thanks I did see that. Sounds like your backend fix may have gotten overwritten, or maybe not applied to a high enough scope.

I only see this behavior with my admin account, not any managed or other regular users.

Should I assume this is just a “feature” and admin accounts can’t turn off web media sources? (And that someone just left a blank page rather than a note saying so?)

I’ll tag @ericmatthys as he helped me with this.

Hopefully someone will come in and help you out as this is an issue on Plex’s side of things.

Thanks I appreciate that. It’s looking like I may have to live with it.

Yeah…not sure why no one from Plex is coming in to assist. Not sure who else I can tag to get you guys some visibility.

This hasn’t happened to me since whatever they fixed in my thread back in January. It only seems to happen to a small subset of users.
