My search-fu has failed me.
I’m trying to see if there is a full list of the sources Plex can see and then cross reference that with access I have via DIRECTV account, local public library or free/fast providers.
There are so many, I have a feeling there may be discoverable content that I’m not discovering yet, but also seems insane to check EVERY service in the list.
If I had the full list, I could toss that into AI with the local public library and DIRECTV info and get a list of all providers to add that I have access. This is a case of not knowing everything (free, etc) I have access to.
Plex has no access to anything, except its own “Movies & TV” library, as well as its “Streaming Live TV” channels.
i.e. Plex cannot look into your user account, which you may have on other streaming services.
Additionally, it uses information from a partner, for displaying availability of streaming media on other streaming services.
Availability is differing, dependent on country and region.
You can see all sources which are available for your region on this page: https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/online-media-sources
Correct. What I was looking for was a list of all the sources in a printable or copy/paste format. For example, with cable or satellite, you’re able to look at an online list of all available channels. So I was hoping for a similar list of all available sources Plex discover can see. So I guess Plex doesn’t have the list, the “partner” has a list and thus, no way to get a printable copy/paste list?
