The more I use this addon the more I appreciate it. I can’t use anything else but LibreELEC on an Odroid C2 now because the picture quality is just too damn good. Full bluray rips look amazing on a beautiful GT50 plasma.
Find myself missing tv theme music more than I thought I would!
@thruster999 We are both now employees at Plex! So that’s how much they’ve supported us. Since then, both of us are working on more pressing matters. We still are actively working on this, but the progress is slower than we’d like. Doubtful you’ll ever see the Android TV stuff integrated into the addon (since Kodi doesn’t expose addons to that stuff) but maybe through Library Integration someday.

Care to share what these pressing matter are? I know you’ve been working on the photo stuff. What’s ruuk been up to?
Please don’t take this the wrong way. I’m simply interested in why developing the addon has slowed from what it once was.

Looking forward to the future.
Well from what I have gleaned from past comments I think ruuk has been working on Companion.
Man I need my Alexa support.
Again second guessing I think that hat Keithah & ruuk are currently working on is nothing to do with PfK.
Personally I think compared with other Plex clients the development has been so fast, it could only ever go one way from there.
Leia is in alpha and will be for quite some time. To answer your question, no it wouldn’t be. Keith has mentioned the skin would need to be rewritten for V18.
@danjames92@HitsVille Numbers talk, and because we’re not just contractors solely working on it as before, it’s prioritized in line with other clients. I have many responsibilities, photos being one of them, and ruuk is working on one of the most popular clients now.
Once some major work is finished, we’ll look into formally scheduling more time for this. Since ruuk is the sole dev, it’s harder on him to task switch like that. Be patient, it’ll get done in time.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully it’ll get some love again soon, great client. Much prefer it to PMP. I’ve noticed if you stop playing a video quickly and you move back to the homescreen, sometimes the addon doesn’t refocus and you have to hit back again before you regain control. Hard to reproduce but if you use the client as your main for a while, you’ll notice it.
The repo is just like a xml file and some zip files. Its kind of impossible for it to ‘not work properly’. Kodi could be messed up, I guess, but my 5 devices work fine with it…
@keithah and @danjames92 What versions of kodi are you using? And on what client?
@keithah I can confirm that kodi does not download the new repo xml unless you use the check for updates button in the side bar. The update button in the plugin info only checks the existing repo file. At least on libreelec 18.0.

Yeah your advice worked. Odroid C2 / Raybuntu’s LibreELEC rb13.
I noticed a lot of people having buffering and not finding server problems. If your using a vpn, turn it off connect to your server or servers then turn it back on. And the buffering issue, you need to adjust the settings in Kodi according to the file ext your movie is. MKV’s play different than 1080p. I use plex on kodi and never have a problem. Think its great thing .
