Only recognize half of the seasons

Hi

Not sure if this is the right forum/place for this question, i just ripped all my Gummi Bears dvds (all seasons), have made em in the same x264 and file format, have made catalog from season 01 to season 6, and put the right episodes in their home catalog, but plex is only put season 4 to 6, and not 1 to 3, even tho it has the same filename…

Please help me out

I allready read that, but none is working, and it has the same permission and everything, my emby server has no problem reading the same file, and it put it in the right seasons…

Please show your file names and the folder structure.

Season 02 - Disney`s Adventures of the Gummi Bears - S02E01 like this?

Is this a file or a folder name (or both)?
Please follow the links in the above article. They’ll precisely tell you how to name and organize your media so that it gets recognized by Plex.

Dont think its the naming , because i have named all the files the same, only changed the season and the episode, and it now find only 1-4-5-6, missing season 2 and 3

It doesn’t matter if they’re all the named in the same wrong way.
You need to name them in the right way.

As OttoKerner mentions, incorrect naming & organization works until it doesn’t. Plex is very picky with TV shows. Follow the documentation.

Use the show name as it appears at TheTVDB.com: Adventures of the Gummi Bears (no “Disney’s”).

/A TV Library <-- TV library points here. Exact name unimportant.
.../Adventures of the Gummi Bears
....../Season 01 <-- "Season" in English. Two digits for season number
........./Adventures of the Gummi Bears - s01e01.ext <-- ext = mkv/mp4/etc

BTW, I have had massive success NOT including the show name in the file name itself, but that is not the suggested way to name files. If you want to be very sure of success, use the naming convention as Plex suggests.
