Open PHT 1.7.1 Bootloop on Wetek play 2

Hi,

I’ve decided to test this OpenPHT on my new Wetek Play 2 device, as I use PMS on my Syno (Xpenology exactly) NAS and plex client on LG TV and laptop at home.

I’ve used Win32DiskImager (as admin) to write the image on a microSD 32Go that works previously with Libreelec on the Wetek Play 2.
The system start to boot, I can see OpenPHT logo, but then it enter in a bootloop (blue screen/ black screen / open PHT Logo).

I had a similar issue with previous version of Libreelec on the Wetek, a lot of user faced same issue (not all!), it was an issue on the img that has been fixed in the last release of Libreelec for Wetek play 2.

I will make new try re-loading the img and using other mSD.

Is there any other OpenPHT experience on Wetek Play 2 ?

I don’t have a WeTek Play 2 to test this on. Does previous verisons of OpenPHT run on it?

Hi,

I tested again, reloaded the image file, different mSD, always bootloop !

I’ll give a try to previous versions and see if works!

I’m not able to find older version for wetek play2. The release note 1.7.1 said wetek play 2 is new addition in this version.

Is there wetek play 2 users that succeed in installing openpht?
