Opening Plex shows little window before starting

Whenever I start the new Windows Player a little screen shows and I need to close that window for Plex to actually start.

Little more background information. I uninstalled and installed the latest version from the downloads page. I use a 4K screen and had to edit some register keys for the scaling(Please fix). The window is not resizable.

This little window is the update prompt, informing you that there is a new software version. Remove the environment variables again, download the latest installer. The scaling issue is solved, AFAIK.
