OpenPHT 1.6.2, crashes

Music does not play continuously, it plays a song, finish the song then openPHT quits and goes to desktop, it does not play next songs. TV shows plays and when finished openPHT quits and goes to desktop.
What other information can I post so some one can give some ideas, suggestions, any settings, can someone point me some where. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
George.

Upload the OpenPHT log - will help see what’s going on. Off top of my head can’t recall the exact path of the log but lots of info in these forums on use of logs.

Thank you Pil71 for your help. I’ve attached the OpenPHT log to this post. This is a crash after playing a song in my playlist. The song was “Don’t Wory Be Happy”

Pass through audio is failing as soon as you start playing. Not sure that would impact this though. Could try changing audio config.

Then a Skin issue on Now Playing but again doesn’t sound like enough to cause the crash.

At end of log it appears to be attempting to play next song in list “Up On The Roof” - any issue with that specific media file or is it crashing as it starts ANY 2nd song in the list ?

Sorry I’m not great at interpreting these logs - anyone else see anything ?

Thanks pil71. It crashes as it starts ANY 2nd songs, actually, it never starts the 2nd song, it just crashes. Will attempt to change the audio as suggested!! Will post with any result.

Well, change Pass Thru Audio, no results, still OpenPHT goes to desktop after finish playing. :-L
Any tidbits will be greatly appreciated.
TIA

can you successfully play those songs that are failing WITHOUT using a playlist ?

Thanks Pil71, it happens with any song, some times with T.V. shows and movies lately just recalling. will give it a try and play songs from other than “playlist” and post results.

Hi Pil71, tried your suggestion with no good results, once the song is finished OpenPHT goes to desktop.
!!!, no words.

Here is another log from the crash of OpenPHT 1.6.2 running on Ubuntu 14.04. What happened in here is I had my dad (glporras) start a playlist of songs, then had him hit skip-next to skip to the next song 3 times, letting each one start to play to make sure we heard something. Then I had him skip-previous to restart the 2nd song and let that play all the way through such that the playlist would automatically start the 3rd song which failed with a crash of OpenPHT. The only thing I see different in the logs is near the end where this error was logged:
15:34:28 T:140227678025472 ERROR: ffmpeg[7F894CEFB700]: Header missing

This didn’t happen when we skipped to this song, but only when we let the previous song finish on its own and advance the playlist.

Anyone have any ideas? I’ve made sure that all the ffmpeg libs were updated.
