OpenPHT installing on Openelec

Is there a possibility to install OpenPHT from a standard Openelec build?
I have an Intel NUC5PPYH, Openelec 6.0 Kodi is running fine on it, but I would prefer to have OpenPHT on it instead.
Any solution for it?

That would interest me too… wood like to use oPHT with my Asus ChromeBox

Any particular reason? OpenPHT doesn’t seem to have any active development as the team is stretched thin supports Windows Mac Linux whereas you can almost guarantee Openelec Kodi will get regular updates.

Any particular reason you don’t know what you’re talking about, a new release of OpenPHT is currently being prepared.

If it’s being prepared, where are the commits on Github? Or is it a private branch you’re updating that the public can’t see?

Commits usually made after successful completion of beta tests.

So will there be an Openelec like version of this?

Only if another third party builds it, which is what happened with PHT, Plex only supported Windows and OSX, that’s all that’s currently supported for OpenPHT.

I wish, that the RasPlex Team build an OpenEelec version bacause your build´s are without bug´s. They just working fine…

Sorry for the noob question but would an Openelec build work on all devices that support OpenElec or does it need a specific build per device?
I have an old Gbox midnight box that was working with XBMC Frodo on OpenElec. I had to use PlexBMX which was never great but useable. Would I be able to flash this new OpenElec build out of the box?
Thanks in advance!

OpenPHT Embedded is only supported on specific hardware - i386/AMD64 (Intel and AMD), Odroid C2 and Raspberry Pi (Rasplex).

I believe you can run Plex for Android on the GBox.

Ok thanks Ned

I can only find the official client on the Android Store - Is OpenPHT not available on Android yet?

No, sorry.
