Hey can i install Openpht in anyway on smart tv ? i dont want to use the plex app because its too laggy
Bravia smart TVs come in two flavors: the ones with Opera smart TV platform and the ones with Android TV platform. In both cases I don’t think that can be done, AFAIK there’s no port of OpenPHT for Android and Opera TV is basically a web platform.

What model is the TV? If it’s stuttering it can be because the server is transcoding the video, or because the network is not fast enough. If the issue is transcoding (Plex for Opera TV for example only supports h264 video, and transcoding is needed for subtitles) the only way to fix it is to convert your media in a compatible format, or you can use OpenPHT but you’ll need a client like a NUC or Raspberri Pi to make it run.
