Optimized Version Quality Settings Are Ignored During Automatic Runs

Server Version#: 1.31.2.6810 (Official Docker Image)
Player Version#: 1.65.1.3596-7b1f6d97

I have a series configured to automatically generate a 480p and a 720p version of new episodes as they are added. But the optimization process seems to spin its wheels as if it is creating a new version, but the new files are the same quality as the original file.

If I delete the incorrectly optimized versions and recreate them manually from the settings, it creates versions that are of the quality I configured in the settings.

Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a fix?

Update: My most recent videos have an original quality of 720p and no matter what method I use, it will not optimize down to 480p. It allows me to choose 480p, but when it completed the optimized version it creates is still 720p.

SOLUTION: Uncheck “Disable video stream transcoding” under the transcoder settings

I guess must have accidentally checked that box at some point. All is well now.
