Optimized Versions naming convention ?

Hi all

I have elected to have a separate folder for my optimized versions for an entire library.

  1. I would like to have movie folders - and not just one folder where everything goes into. Is that possible?
    Right now Plex creates the following folder structure
    <library folder>/ Plex Versions/ Optimized for Mobile/ <all files for different movies goes here>

  2. There is a strange naming convention for subtitle files for optimized versions.
    e.g.
    The Avengers (2012).mp4 The Avengers (2012).44343.dan.srt The Avengers (2012).44344.eng.srt The Avengers (2012).44345.srt

Whats up with the numbering in the subtitles filenames?

When you select to make optimized versions there is an option dropdown to tell it to put them in the folder with the original files.

I believe the numbers are the stream IDs from the original file. but I will ask one of the server guys when they are online and get back to you

I don’t want the optimized versions in folders with the original item - but I still want movie folders - and not just everything thrown into one single folder.
