I’m sorry, an “Option to remove “Recommended” tab in players” will not happen. I’m closing this to give your votes back.
If paying customers are asking for this feature, then it should be considered and implemented.
I didn’t and wouldn’t ever say to remove a feature.
I will always ask for the option to not use a feature.
Any feature will or won’t work for everyone.
Options are always needed.
Otherwise I will simple exercise my option to not use your product and be sure that others know why.

You do have the Option to ‘Remember Selected Tab’.
I suggest you use it. You’ll only need to do it once.
