Option to hide the number of items in collections

I have many collections in which the movies are not all available to all users in my home. But when all users look at the collection when browsing, they can see the total # of items in the collection is more than they have access to. This creates constant questions for me and spoils new movie purchases for Christmas, etc. Not a big deal, but my life would be enhanced if we could hide that item count on collections.

I suppose a nice alternative would be to have Plex calculate the # of items that the current user has access to in the collection and display that # - it will do that just fine as soon as the collection is selected, but it waits for the user to select it and displays the full count of allowed and hidden items when they are browsing.

For example, let’s say I am working on collecting the Star Trek films because my kids are big fans. So far, they know that we have the first 6 films and that’s what they have access to in Plex. I add the 4 TNG films and don’t give them access yet, but they can now see there are 10 items in the Star Trek collection, spoiling Christmas for everyone. :frowning:

Or say I’ve given my kids access to the first film in the Nightmare on Elm Street collection and they are not allowed to watch the rest - but they can see when I’ve added additional films to the collection and will pester me for permission/access, when all I wanted was to enjoy the movie myself until they are older.

Can something be easily done about this? I know I’ve seen this discussed before, but I could not find any existing topics today.
