I find the new “Remixes” album category in the artist page particularly useful, as this feature is normally not seen in the artist page of most mainstream music providers. However, the way this hub works is strange to me. It only shows albums with the Primary type “ALBUM” and secondary type “REMIX”. Ok. How it works now, is that every EP or Single (primary tag) with REMIX secondary tag, goes immediately to the EPs/Singles row. Like this, it looks similar to these mainstream platforms at the moment, with the Remix album showing up next to the original at the very long EP/Single row… Therefore, only very few albums go to this REMIXES hub. In my opinion, there should be an option to allow the “EP /single + Remix” albums go into the REMIX hub at the artist page. But I also think that many people like to see the remixes appear next to the originals so a solution for both preferences should be found.
My solution in mind, looking for the most simple request as possible: An option to tick yes or no, to be found in the Music Library options: “Group all remix album types: Yes/No”, or “Group Remix albums in Artist View: Yes/No”. This way, you would allow everyone to choose how they prefer displaying their Remix albums in their library 
A small note about issues that caused this request: Had several complaints from MusicBrainz on the form of: “this release group also contains the non-remix release”, “looks like a maxi single to me”, “why?”. This is because I keep changing release groups of some albums I’d like to see in “Remixes” from “EP/Single+Remix”, to “Album+Remix”, so, then I can see it in Plex “exactly how I want it”. Hmm… With this I’m starting to realise that I might be disturbing some other’s people work in this music server by editing their adds to my own personal preference. So I hope Plex team figures a way for us to properly manage these new beautiful album categories internally from the Plex comfort zone, without having to access/modify/request/wait for other external pages. I think I’m done with modifying existing ReleaseGroups in MusicBrainz and will just keep on adding new ones… Please help me tidy my remixes
