I have access to a friends shared library and every time I go into a episode "folder" I have to carefully look if there are missing ones before starting to watch anything(I hate starting to watch a show, to only find out that there are missing episodes in-between them all).
It would be so much easier is there was an option in Plex, that the client could turn on/decide if he wants to show missing episodes ("Make missing episodes visible")
The missing episodes could be just listed as normal ones that are not missing, but un-selectable and faded out so the user doesn't have to navigate(click) unnecessary much(not to disturb the navigation).
They should contain the correct name and ect, acquired from the same source the other episodes where identified from. These sources already know how many episodes are in what season, there name and etc.!
This way, one could very quickly identify missing episodes browsing a TV show(and even help, one decide to not start watching a show, until all episodes and seasons where present).
Event better would be if it could just be handled from the Plex server, so the client wouldn't need to be updated for this function to be implemented.
I tried to look, but I couldn't find any request for this feature.
I doubt that I am be alone in thinking this is a extremely functional feature, that all(a great deal at least) of Plex users would appreciate immensely in there daily interaction with there Plex client
