I would suggest fetching and displaying in Plex empty slots for missing episodes.
This way, Plex would show:
- how many episodes are missing or still expected for a show season
and - if an episode is missing between 2 episodes of the same season
I faced this issue many times jumping right into an episode before understanding that I was playing the wrong one for a minute or 2. Unfortunately enough time for the “Previously in…” to spoil me.
