Show missing content from collections and TV Series

It’s really frustrating when you’d watch a serie, and in all of a sudden an episode is missing. The same problem occurs with collections of movies.

My suggestion is that by means of TheTVDB( https://www.thetvdb.com/ ) missing episodes are showed within the GUI of Plex. There can also be a tab in settings that will show this, so that we can collect (download ) the remaining episodes.

The software for this problem is already available in the program TV Rename.

If the software is not open source, i assume that there is a way through the API of TheTVDB for series and IMDb for movies.

Option to show MISSING seasons and episodes

I have access to a friends shared library and every time I go into a episode "folder" I have to carefully look if there are missing ones before starting to watch anything(I hate starting to watch a show, to only find out that there are missing episodes in-between them all).   It would be so much easier is there was an option in Plex, that the client could turn on/decide if he wants to show missing episodes ("Make missing episodes visible") The missing episodes could be just listed as normal o…
