I’ve noticed that certain songs seem to be sonically similar to a lot of other songs and tend to get matched frequently by the Guest DJs. The Guest DJ will play a song a 2nd time through an album if it happens to be the best match again.
This would be in a genre for which I’ve got 100s of songs, so it’s not like you’d expect to hear many repeats.
I don’t doubt that DJ Stretch is picking the best match each time (but it does make me wonder how granular the sonic evaluation is). However, I’d prefer no match at all or, even better, the runner-up song instead of repeating a song I just heard ten minutes ago.
