Option to turn off Plexamp Visualizers completely

I would love an option to turn of Plexamp Visualizers completely. For me they don’t add anything and too often by accident I click on the album cover to be confronted with a visualizer that I don’t want to see after which I have to click again to get back to the album cover. Thanks for considering. Would provide me with more visual peace

have to admit it’s the first time we’ve heard this one

Hahaha, let’s see if others respond. I hope it becomes an option.

I’ll respond if only to say that I don’t use visualisers but don’t find their existence troubling :man_shrugging:t2:

I just realised that it would already be better for me if visualisers could not accidentally be activated by a click on cover art. A shortcut or menu item to activate would be much better. It’s just the accidentallity ( i know not a real word) that bothers me.

yep … I find i accidentally turn them on too. Although some are aesthetically pleasing in themselves, I can’t for the life of me understand why they were thought of as a usefull feature for an app in 2020.

It’s probably a different progarmming skillset but I’d much prefer to be able to shuffle a queue like google music and other boring apps did…or like (weirdly enough) plex can for tv episodes.

I’m still thinking plexamp is awsome…just I spent 2 decades in user experience and UI and I cannot understand those piorities.

“follow your passion”

as a side r&d style project, we go towards shiny objects. for whatever reason, visualizers seemed like a cool thing to play with. many people actually enjoy them…
