Ordinal Not Found

I really hope verbose logging is not on, but I can’t find the setting…

Windows 11 updated earlier this week and after a reboot, everything works fine.
Plex Player on Windows updated yesterday and still worked fine.
But then I had to reboot this morning and now I get the following error on launch:

Ordinal Not Found
The ordinal 22118 could not be located in the dynamic link library …Plex\Plex\Qt5Core.dll.

Those are logs from server not app logs. https://support.plex.tv/articles/windows-mac-app-logs/

sorry i meant that the error you are reporting is from the windows player then we need the windows player logs as well. Link above has instructions on how to get them

What you are describing sounds a lot like a corrupt installation. Perhaps you may want to try re-installing the app. This is all assuming that it isn’t Windows itself which is corrupt.

It could be Windows itself. Since I posted this, some other apps have been crashing, so I uninstalled the updates from 8/9/22. Everything else seems more stable, but Plex is the only thing still not working. I’ll try re-installing.

Re-install fixed it. Sorry for the trouble!
