Other Visualization?

Anyone know of a different visualization than the current one that is less seizure-inducing? Something a little more tranquil?

Is it possible to create a visualization that pulls album art or something?

i was thinking exactly the same thing today.

I would love to see a plugin similar to gaslight http://steelskies.com/gaslight/ and or Jewel Case http://www.opticalalchemy.com/products.html

Ah yes, that jewel case thingie would be sweet, but it would definitely would need to move from time to time to prevent burn-in...can anyone code something similar?

I will hopefully have some good news to announce shortly about improved visualizations for Plex.

Hence, why I will name my third child after you…

Sweet! Can’t wait to meet little Plex Sai

Does anyone have any updates on the visualizations ‘good news’ mentioned previously by Elan? Thanks for such a great product.

Once we get to .7 you’ll start seeing these additions added in. So far the internal tests I’ve seen are great. Elan coding feverishly!

I assume .7 is a rather long way away since you are still in .5 and still have to go through all the releases in .6 ? or is plex skipping .6 and jumping to .7 ? meaning these things will happen sooner than later ?

ahhhhh…the power of information! i guess it will be a case of wait and see…you wont be disappointed though!

The odd releases are "development" and the even releases are "stable" much like Linux used to do things.

Your right I wont be disappointed because I don't use Plex, so can't be dissapointed about something I don't use.
It was more of a general query to try and get some more specific information that people were looking for but did not get in the initial replies and still didn't. I was kind of hoping that [http://plexapp.lighthouseapp.com/projects/...plex/milestones](http://plexapp.lighthouseapp.com/projects/14382-plex/milestones) might have dates for each version so I could tell but it doesn't is there another timeline like the old trac one you had that actually shows esimated dates ?
