Interrupted recordings need to be handled better. When using an antenna recordings can interrupted for various reasons. For example a power outage, a storm, or a plane flying by. But when this happens plex just stops the recording all together rather than pick up and continue recording when the signal is better.

So I was watching and recording Good Morning America and after about an hour I lost signal on this channel due to a major storm, this channel usually has no issues. About 30 minutes later the channel was back but plex did not continue the recording. So if I was not home I would have missed the rest of the show.

Plex needs to handle these situations better. I ok with missing part of the show but not a huge chunk because plex chooses not to continue to record the show.

We do this when it’s a short interruption, but not something that’s as long as 30 minutes, I’m afraid.

I think this needs to be added as a feature. Other services allow this.
