Just started with looking into Live TV yesterday, and hope someone can help with the following.

Trying to record ‘all episodes’ of the daily news ‘RTL Nieuws’ at 7:30pm results in ‘No upcoming airings’.

In the guide all (not only at 7:30pm) the ‘RTL Nieuws’ events are marked with a red square with multiple dots.
In ‘DVR Schedule’ for the ‘RTL Nieuws’ series it only gives ‘No upcoming airings’.
A ‘Refresh Guide’ didn’t change this.
Tried to do this also for a few other series, but all give ‘No upcoming airings’.

Steps:
Plex home > Live TV & DVR > Guide > select a future ‘episode’ to record. >

Basic selections:
Record: All Episodes
Airings: New Airings Only
Add to Library: TV programmes

Advanced selections:
Resolution: Prefer HD
Replace lower resolution items: unselected
Allow partial airings: selected
Minutes before start: 2
Minutes after end: 3
Limit to channel: ‘750 RTL4NL (RTL4)’
Limit to airings time: 07:30 PM
Detect commercials: Disabled
Keep: Episodes added in the past 3 days
Delete episodes after playing: Never

Looks I found a ‘partial workaround/-s-o-l-u-t-i-o-n-’, I had to change ‘Arings’ to ‘New and Repeat Airings’.

One-time recordings work fine, and while selecting the recording from earlier today (2020-12-29) a date of ‘1989-10-02’ was displayed.

Using the ‘New and Repeat Airings’ does allow to have recordings, they unfortunately are not deleted after 3 days.
I expected this to happen with the settings ‘Keep: Episodes added in the past 3 days’.

The recordings are saved in a directory named “RTL Nieuws (1989)”.
Can this be due to a EPG issues?
Is it possible to find the source of this date.

The updated TV guide is working well for me now but the issue with many shows not marked as NEW in guide data means you’re best to select New and Repeat Airings till/if it gets fixed.

Otherwise the cover art and information are really good thanks again to the people who worked on this - lets get it home with resolving the guide issue.

(My Guide is set to Freeview Australia/Melbourne.)
