Player Version#: 4.148.0
I assume this is happening for all platforms, but as of 1.41.9.9917 we are already on web player 4.148.0… So why in the patch notes are we going backwards? I’ve never liked Plex’s patch notes, but this is confusing…
There is a difference between the local and the hosted web app.
It’s first thing in the morning here for me, but can you guys not make a distinction between local vs hosted web apps in the patch notes?
Would have prevented this post more than likely. I basically only use the hosted web app, and with there being differences between hosted vs local, it should be clarified in the patch notes in my opinion (it’s the little things).
A server release only contains the local web app. The hosted one, as its name implies, is hosted at app.plex.tv.
