Pay PlexPass with Paypal Balance

I’m trying to buy a Plex pass for 3months, and I want to use my PayPal Balance not my CC, is there a way to do it?
When I go to the paypal option it always displays my CC, and I want it to be deducted from my paypal balance.
Thanks!

Did you ever figure this out? I would love to do the same.

Just incase anyone else experiences this. Turns out that although you need a credit card on file, when the payment gets made, paypal will take a paypal balance first and then charge the card. It isn’t very clear when going through the steps.

Sorry there wasn’t an answer here. As you found out, yes, you can use your PayPal balance to pay for Plex Pass. PayPal has a policy that when paying for a recurring service (like Plex Pass) you need to have a credit card on file as a back up. Unfortunately there is nothing Plex can do to change this.

If you, or anybody, ever has a question on billing and don’t get an answer in the forum, please visit https://www.plex.tv/contact/, select Plex Pass Billing from the drop down, and ask your question. Someone will get back to you typically within 24 hrs.

This is the correct answer even though I selected a card to pay, paypal took the paypal balance first (buying lifetime)

That was it indeed, I was very confused why only card payment was appearing, but yeah in the end PP takes the money from the balance we have there and not the card/bank.
