Trying to pay for a plex pass with paypall

Hello i’m new to this forum and plex in general.
Although i,m liking plex so far i would like to get a lifetime plex pass.
I’ve found a promo code witch give’s me a 25% discount.
As it is my understanding this will be a one time money transfer. But when I click on pay with paypall, I get some form submissions for credit card information. I do not own a credit card though, so is this option really necessary? I have enough money on my paypall account. And i’m not planning to get a monthly subscription with plex in the future for other services.

So is there a way that i can just pay the fee and be done with it?

From your Plex account/ subscriptions contact billing for any questions.

also… I’ve just checked and when ordering a new Plex Pass I am offered the option to pay with Paypal. There’s 2 tabs on the top of the order form – the default is “Credit Card”, the 2nd one is Paypal

(I suppose that’s the same for gifting as for buying a plex pass for yourself)

You need to change your payment preference.

just changed, not working yet but I’m gonna wait for a while before jumping to conclusions. My apologies for any dumb questions, I’ve not used my paypall account for a long while normally I pay with direct transfers, so this whole credit card payments and even paypall payments is not what I’m used to.

Login to paypal and go to wallet. Don’t try it within Plex subscription mechanism
