I noticed this past week that new episodes were not being added to my library any longer, up until then I had no problems at all, and everything has ran very smoothly.
I’ve done a lot of reading and testing, such as uninstalling, checking logs, looking for others with similar issues and have come to the conclusion that something has happened to the permissions of my media files.
I did a fresh install of my Media Server and less than half of my library was added, and there doesn’t seem to be a link between what gets added and what doesn’t.
Looking at the verbose logs I can see the missing media being scanned, but it doesn’t get added to my library.
Is there any correct or incorrect way that file/folder sharing permissions be set? And does anyone know what might cause for them all to change overnight?
