I am having issues with my Plex Server recognizing new media files, both Audio & Video. All files are in specific folders that the server libraries are pointed to. The Media Files are all mostly MKV Files that are 1080p and the Audio Files are either 16 Bit or 24 Bit FLAC files. All files have a consistancy to their naming and directories as well as Medadata Informaton (Artist, Album, Dates, File Names, Ect) for Audio and for Movies - File Name, Title, Sort Title, Date, ect. From an audio perspective, I have two different files, one as the date of 2022-04-15 in it and the other has 2022-04-16 in the file title and the Album Medadata, everthing else is the sames and the 2022-04-14 file shows up in my Plex Directory and the 2022-04-16 file does not.
I have what seems to be the same issue. The most recently added Movies and TV episodes that are shown in my libraries are from 5 days ago. This seems to coincide with the Plex update 4 days ago.

Thursday I noticed new eps from my Shows weren’t appearing in the libraries on my players. I verified the existence of the files and folders, and that the libraries were pointing to the right locations.
Then I noticed new movies also were not shown.
As a test, I copied an existing Show from one folder to another. It disapeared from the original library but did not re-appear on the other. Basically, it just vanished.
As a second test, I created two folders, one for TV and the other for Movies, created new libraries pointing to them, copied some existing files to these folders, but nothing showed up.
I tried scanning libraries, optimising database, to no avail.
On a whim I changed the scanner for my test TV library, on the Library > Advanced window, from “Plex TV Series” to “Plex Series Scanner” and then the few shows I added show up. When I try to revert back to the default “Plex Series Scanner” setting it tells me my changes cannot be saved.
