So I loved the setup so much that I went out and bought another ATV3 for my kids to watch.
Now that I’m using channels, I’ve noticed that some are not hiding the clip info.
Any ideas what to modify to hide them?
I noticed this as well, seems to be a channe/theme l issue I think. I seen it with ssplex also. When I use brotuser I don’t see the issue at all. What theme are you using?

Well it's not our PlexConnect :D Isn't it one of the so called themes/skins? I'm not sure which one.
It’s using @Stoffez’s theme.
mmh, looks like my overlay java code :D but no idea why it stays there...hiding should depend on play/pause..
but you can go to settings -> video Player OSD and turn it off
It works perfect on TV downloads just not some channels. Is there a different template for channels?
I used to see this a lot using Cyberghosts theme but not so much anymore at all. I have also seen it with falcos as well (not sure if it was php or pil at that time). I believe it depends on the channel or video file specifically based upon the channel used. It’s like the initial screen gets stuck on falcos pause screen that shows the cover art of movie & tv shows but only like @boffenheim said via certain channels.

The only difference I can think of is that some channels don't report an ending time, so a wild guess is it could be due to the fact that all the overlays are link so if ending time overlay isn't displayed it could be messing up the removal of the other overlays, as I said it's just a wild guess. The theme developer would need to look into how they've linked their overlays into the default PlexConnect ones.

i would if i knew how it worked.. it is falco that has programmed it.. i have no idea how this even works :D

This occurs all the time with the Twitch channel and falco’s theme if someone wants to check it out for diagnosis purposes. I have just turned the info overlay off in the meantime.
