Personal media scan doesn't follow TV naming conventions

I’m trying to use a library with the Plex Series Scanner and the Personal Media Shows agent to automatically recognize concert recordings by tour and date. Per the Plex naming conventions for a daily series, the files are out laid out as:

<Tour Type>
|---- Season <year>
     |---- <Tour Type> - <YYYY-MM-DD> - <Venue>.<ext>

However, anytime I add new media, it uses the date in YYYY-MM-DD as the Title, while automatically setting the “first available” to be a day after. Ideally I could find either a document explaining the logic for the Plex Series Scanner or the source code so refer to so that I could fix the names to conform what the scanner expects, but after a fair bit of searching I still can’t find either.

Any ideas of what I could do here? I’m totally open to changing the naming convention, as long as I can reliably import the date of the recording (for “first available”) and the Venue/Title.
