It is great but if your main plex player is a nvidia shield or roku or whatever then you can’t use it. I’d like to see some integration with the android/ios players so that thered be a lot of compatibility. MrMC has built in Hue integration for ios/android and it works amazingly well as there’s no delay with the lights and the color representation is superb.

I also would also like to see this feature directly built into the Plex app itself. RIght now in order to get Hue Sync working, you would have to airplay mirror your computer screen to Apple TV and this is very unconvenient. There should be a much easier way and that’s to somehow include Hue Sync directly into Plex.app itself.
I use Plex.app on my Apple TV and would love to see this feature being integrated. Not everyone watches from their computer. Which makes Hue Sync app kinda useless for those of us who watch directly from our TV’s.
What’s this Hue integration you’re referring to? Is this for iOS, Apple Tv or something else?
MrMC is a another media player. It has Plex integration. Within MrMC there is support for hue sync which works really well

+1. HelloHue works great but it has limited functionality. Full integration like the Mac/Windows HueSync apps would be great on Plex.
+1 MrMc has Hue entertainment integrated which works great on ATV but would love to see this added to my native Plex App
Not sure if anyone already posted this here. There is an app for android which apperantly works really well. Just found out about it and will give it a try tonight with my shield when i get home.
