Is there a way to tweak Plex somehow so that only the JPG files are added to the Plex library?
I see there was a post for Mac and there was help but it does not show it, although the person said thanks it works.
This was Feb 2018 heading Add only JPGs to Library
Once the solution is found how do I remove all other file formats and leave the jpg’s?
Gotta say the Photo’s support is completely useless. Crazy HEIC wasn’t supported out of the gate, since it’s the number one mobile device photos format.
Is PLEX even run by anyone now? There has been no help for the issue.
Have you tried the plexignore file? I haven’t tried that for photos so not sure if it works. Other than that, there is no way to restrict certain extensions.
Thanks, but I am dumb so I am not sure what is to be done here. For me the most sense when making a photo library in PLEX I would select the folder where the photos are to be added. Then an option to include all or we could specify as for me .jpeg so only they are added then as more jpeg’s are added the folder they automatically get added to the PLEX library . This would be the simplest way to do it.
