Photo library: No difference between

I am a Plex Pass subscriber, and I have a Photos library. All of the photos are in directories. I was expecting Plex to show me all the photos themselves in the library view, but instead it shows the directories, even when the view is set to Photos.

Sorting doesn’t work. If I sort by date taken, it just shows all the directories in alphabetical order.

That is the intended purpose of the Library view. You may want to switch to the Timeline view.

But why is there an option to choose between Folders and Photos if it is meaningless? Are you saying they intentionally designed some of the UI to be pointless?
