Hello all, I have searched the forum and could not find an answer to this question so I am posting it here. With a photo playlist, can Plex be configured to scroll through the photos at a configured interval (like every 5 seconds go to the next photo)? I have looked through all of the settings and cannot find this option. When I “play” a photo playlist is opens the first photo in the list, but it does not move on to the next photo unless you manually scroll, which defeats the purpose for me.
Thanks for any help!
Ryan
Hi,
I need in reverse way. i.e what you exactly facing that is what i need. For you the solution is
left arrow -> Preference -> select second option on Right side, then you will see the photos option in the middle menu. place the cursor or select that option, left side 1st option you can see the number of sec.
Kindly suggest me for my problem. I don’t want scroll. When i press left arrow then only the photo should change otherwise the photo should not change.
Thank you for your response Surya! I do not know how to solve your question, my client does what you are looking for automatically, which is not what I want. It appears my issue is with the Android TV client, when I use the web client through Windows I have a play button at the bottom of the image once I launch the playlist. When I press this button, the slideshow begins. I do not have this button at the bottom of the image through the Android TV client. Bummer!
Ryan,
I noticed in your tags that you mention Android. Does this mean you are looking for this feature in the Android Plex player? I ask because the Plex Web player does automatically play photo playlists.
EDIT: Whups, I responded to your original post. I see in your last post that you already clarified this.
