I am pleasantly surprised with the new timeline feature in the photo library.
I noticed that some of my pictures/photo’s were wrongly tagged, so I updated exif metadata (with jhead)
However, Plex does not seem to pick up those changes. I tried “Scan library files”, “Analyse” and “Refresh All Metadata” from within the context menu of the library, but changed were not detected.
The only thing that works is
- removing picture
- refresh all metadata
- adding picture again
- refresh all metadata
Is there no other procedure that this? How to force Plex to read the new metadata? To import my changes in plex, I should remove and add the whole library again, but this is very time/resource consuming. No other way to achieve this?
