Photo transcoder 404

Channel number/Name: Majority

Majority of my channels are showing with no channel logo and movie/show image.

It used to work very well in older versions and started doing this maybe a year back and I finally tried going into the logs to view the errors.

For the ones that work fine I see its transcoding a URL outside of my plex server and for the ones that are blank are using a internal url despite a url provided in the xml

Photo transcoder: Request for url [/tv.plex.providers.epg.xmltv:4/metadata/2/thumb/1649871029?X-Plex-Token=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] (is local: 1 upscaled: 1)

Calling back into ourselves for photo to transcode, optimizing the process (status: 404)

Its really weird since on the tuner page, each channel has a logo/icon but they do not show for most channels on the guide or other 2 tabs.

Any idea on whats going on or how to fix it?

At least the channel icons started showing up on the guide, just need images now

For anyone with the same issue I finally fixed it all.

1st issue channel icons - My plex is no longer supporting non-ssl images so I had to enable ssl
2nd issue No posters - This was because of my EPG provider, they stopped putting the https:// infront of the img urls, so I created a cron that uses sed to search for and add it if missing, did the same to fix some of the categories to fix catergorizing.

End result, everything works just needed to tweak my EPG before passing to Plex and enable SSL for my image cache
