Photo upload stopped/broke

I’ve been successfully using Photo Upload on the Plex app now for about a month or so. Looks like the last photos uploaded were on Sept. 21 from what I can see. Last check the app said it had 16 new photos to upload. I clicked the button to start the upload in Settings (because despite having “Upload content” set to “As soon as new photos and videos appear,” that never seems to work, another issue but not my primary concern). I didn’t see any effort to upload the 16 photos, just that the readout changed to 0 remaining and pulling the shade out from the side says “All Items uploaded.” Yet, they’re not. I’ve got multiple days worth of photos now not uploaded. I took one today after it failed to upload other photos today to see if it would work at all, and while it said it had uploaded that photo, it never actually got uploaded or appeared in the library. I’ve since force stopped the app and cleared the cache data hoping it would pick up the photos it’s never uploaded, but that doesn’t seem to have worked, it just still indicates everything has been uploaded, despite that clearly not being the case.

Just tried to upload a new photo after a restart of PMS and the app. It pretends it’s trying to upload the photo, but it never actually gets uploaded.

I’m also having this issue; It says “Uploaded: XXX” and “Remaining: 0” but it never actually uploaded any of my recent pictures (yet they are counted in the “Uploaded” count.

I also have the same problem,I have 2 moto e4 phones and it worked on the phone that has been off for a weak but when I updated the app the photo upload stopped working.
so its the last Plex app update that broke the photo upload.

Same thing is happening to me, since last week. On both phones I have SG7.

Same thing here - using an iphone.

App says that there is nothing to upload - I am unable to swipe the camera upload functionality to ‘off’ to make changes to the settings. In the end I went to ‘settings’ and ‘advanced’ to ‘reset camera upload’. That allowed me to configure the upload configuration again (to the same settings as before). It also mean that I now have 2 copies of all the photos (as it did a complete new upload).

One upload went ok, and now it is refusing to upload again. The settings page is saying ‘no libraries found’ (even after manually configuring them).

Exactly same issue.

At least glad to see it’s not just me.

Plex just pushed an app update today and it fixed the photo upload.

It works for new photos, yeah, but I still have a 1 week gap now that it didn’t figure out didn’t get uploaded and did not upload those photos. So that’s pretty disappointing.
