pil?

Running out of options. I checked the firewall settings for python, and it allows access to all ports.

Mildly interesting development. I entered those ports for python manually instead of leaving it on "all." When I clicked on 'Trailers' I got about 30 seconds of "Accessing Trailers" before it finally said trailers unavailable. New log attached.

I guess my next step is to try AirParrot.

I have no idea what you are doing, nor how it is related to PIL.
But looking at the log my post from Apr19 still stays valid:

>>Who/or what is requesting "currentsetting.htm"?

It sure is not PlexConnect. Not the main branch at least.

The only reason this thread started with pil is because "Is PIL installed? False" was in the log, and I thought it might have something to do with the problem. Otherwise, this is simply a "trailers is unavailable" problem.

I wish I could tell you what is requesting "currentsetting.htm", but decoding the log is not my day job, so I have no idea what most of those entries mean. If you know what it means and it helps me connect, fine. If not, I still appreciate the effort.

If I had an android box, I wouldn't have a streaming problem. Unfortunately I'm stuck with Apple. Spousal preference, you know.

Plex Home user with an old PlexConnect version ? You can try to logoff PMS and try PlexConnect again. If it works, then update PlexConnect to latest version, logon PMS, and try again.

Ever tried a google search on "currentsetting.htm"?

Do you have a Netgear router? Are you running any additional Netgear software, that would poke PlexConnect with such a message? Are you sure to NOT have any malware, that tries to grab information from a potentially connected NAS?

Yes Netgear R6700. Firmware is up to date. Malware scans are clean.
